Black Capped Designs began in 2021 when our founder, Jeff Highmore, decided to turn his background in carpentry and woodworking into something more. What started as small projects in the shop quickly grew, and by 2022 we invested in an industrial laser machine. That step transformed us into a custom engraving and signage business, opening up endless new creative possibilities.

In 2025, we expanded again by stepping into the world of leatherworks. Adding this craft has allowed us to blend new materials with the same focus on quality and creativity that’s guided us since the beginning.

At Black Capped Designs, we care deeply about the pieces we create. We use locally sourced materials whenever possible and work closely with our customers to design items that are personal, meaningful, and built to last.
